Usually I get a fix from scouring the stores with my son to pick out his latest object de obsession. But every once in a while a toy really gets me. The Clayface toys last year controlled my existence until I acquired them. I pick up cool Titaniums when I see them since they're small and cheaper than a new HDTV.
And the latest object? The New Caprica Cylon action figure from Thinkgeek:
He even has extra hands and weapons and everything! So cool. He can lord over my BSG titanium ships and make my toaster feel inadequate. Bwahaha!
Ahem. So yeah, I have Toy Lust, much akin to gadget lust, but without even the possibility of improving productivity. I'm sure modern psychology has something to say on the subject, childhood, repression, blah blah blah, I dunno. I don't care.
